Cristo is an absolutely pleasure to work with. Not only does he have high competence in his position as Director of Research at CSLA, NJIT, but due to his abilities and knowledge, he makes accomplishing the tasks easier for everyone. Often under time pressure, Cristo has never failed to meet a deadline or redirect something in time to position the project for success. He's also a great communicator. When I arrived at NJIT I had very little experience in grant writing and applying for federal or other sources of funding for me lab. Cristo patiently and efficiently explained things so that I was able to get up to speed. He's always available and calm, no matter how panicked I am when I bring him a problem! And so far, there's nothing I've thrown at him which he could not handle! He's also great at networking and suggests connections of his who can help me with additional things.
